Two houses in the settlement of Antiparos
Two
Vila in Kostos
A mountain villa for a swiss couple. They wanted a house perfectly build with all the modern comforts-facilities and a pool situated to achieve maximum protection from the wind. And we are very proud to have fullfiled all their needs and ideas !!
House-tower in Laggadia, Kostos
The house of the owner of "kalligrammon" and his wife. The dream of a life-time.
Vila in Ambelas
Restoration and addition on the ground floor, and the 2nd floor as well as a swimming pool. The existing situation of the building was very bad and did not much the new owners taste. The concrete work done in the 80 'ties was carbonized in many spots. We had to remove the plaster and repair all the carbonized concrete as well as the iron spiral reinforcement.
Farther more, the owners wanted a sea-side villa, that would match all the needs of the modern times, be very high tech, and at the same time, cary the cycladic heritage. So we tried to create a luxurious house, simple in its elements (but not plain....), that belongs to this historic inviroment.
Spa for individual house in Isterni
A spa installation for a house in Isterni. We took as granted the aesthetic elements, like visible black stone, marble of the existing house and we have installed the spa in it.
House in Isterni
A home of a couple of antic-dealers from Munich, very well set in the landscape. We tried to create a "maximalistic" house with all the elements of Cycladic architecture. Heavily ornamented marble frames (portosies) around the windows and doors, all hand carved by Labros an master from Tinos island. The floors are a combination of hand squared natural stone, carved marble and in cases pebbles as well as an antic floor brought from Munich by the owners!
House in the suburbs of Parikia
A tempting job. To built the house around an old well and Cypress trees 20m high and surrounded by an olive grove making the least possible destruction to the landscape. This photo was taken one year after the completion of the construction!
